Job Description
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over. 
  • Capable of performing preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance with nominal technical assistance.
  • Repair mechanical equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, liquid fillers, bottle cappers, elevators, and conveyors.
  • Repair electrical equipment including motor control centers, form/fill/seal equipment (FFS), heat tunnels, ink jet machines, labelers, and electrical controls
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment. 
  • Overhaul and install new equipment. 
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts. 
  • Provide direct support to production, sanitation and quality systems related to ensuring company policies and procedures including Hazard Material Handling.
  • Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area. 
  • Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory. 
  • Generate and complete work orders as assigned. 
  • Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.
  • Assist with facility maintenance.
Skills & Requirements
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a production line or manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of mechanical electrical experience required 
  • Basic Computer Skills required
  • Must be able to understand and follow manufacturer’s specifications and schematics. 
  • Good communication skills required
  • Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred. 
  • Basic computer skills. 
  • Previous experience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) knowledge preferred. 
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift.
