Senior Systems Engineer

Position located in Reston, VA:

ARTTRA Inc. is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer in a HUBZone.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience; DoD IAT II certifications and TS/SCI with Poly.

MS in related field or equivalent experience required.

Primary responsibility is Maintain, Configure and Troubleshoot Cyber Defense Systems. The candidate will have experience in one ofthe following areas:

- McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator as implemented in the DoD HBSS program

- Linux based servers and appliances

- Client\Server technologies and troubleshooting

- Splunk

Candidate may also assist with the following: 80/443 web content filters/proxies, email security capabilities, IDS, IPS,SEIM, DNS security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network flow analysis, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls, antivirus capabilities, Linux/UNIX command line, and access control lists.

Position Requirements:
TS/SCI w/Poly
DoD 8570 IAT II
Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent in years’ experience
At least 6 years’ experience in Network Defense/Information Assurance

 

Preferences:

**Ability to write signatures for detection systems, such as SNORT and McAfee Intrushield

**Experience with support to Cyber Network Detection Service Provider (CNDSP)
