Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible for working with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to transform IT solutions into complete, compliant and compelling proposal language. 

Role and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Review, analyze, and interpret technical requirements provided in RFIs and RFPs to gain a thorough understanding of the objectives of each solicitation.
• Gain understanding of challenges potential customers are facing through information available within organization, as well as external resources. Ensure proposal response addresses these challenges in a meaningful way.
• Research/modify company boilerplate to specifically address solicitation requirements.
• Ensure story, which meets the government’s stated and unstated requirements and objectives, is woven throughout proposal and clearly demonstrates our company’s value.
• Organize material and complete writing assignments according to format, outline and schedule set forth by proposal manager.
• Conceptualize clear, informative technical graphics.
• Respond to standard requests for information with limited input.
• Provide updates to standard boilerplate material.
• Meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Actively seek opportunities to learn from team members, with a desire to advance skills (especially related to company strategy and offerings).

Required Skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government solicitation documents.
• Ability to write compelling proposals and boilerplate material.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, simultaneous assignments.
• Willingness to work under tight deadlines and work outside of standard office hours, when needed.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment with remote team members.

Required Experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university 
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products and related MS software.
• Healthcare industry knowledge/experience.
