Summary of Position: Works with General Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

Skills & Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience
  • Assist restaurant management team
  • Maintain and enforce sanitation standards and procedures
  • Experience with Micros POS system
  • Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 55 hours a week
  • Must be able to travel out of state for a 2 1/2 week training course
  • Must have valid driver's license and be ServSafe & TABC certified
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Availability to work all shifts (open, mid, close)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic understanding of food and labor costs, cash handling procedures and company policies
  • Personable, friendly and outgoing personality - must enjoy interacting with and servicing others
  • Initiative, drive and a self-starting work ethic
  • Superior customer service and people skills
  • Ability to train, coach, and direct others
  • Outstanding attention to detail
