Responsibilities:

• Create and manage entry/exit points for data into and out of AWS.
• Develop programmes that are reusable, effective, and scalable.
• Create a serverless application using multiple AWS services such as API, RDS instance, and Lambda.
• Examine and evaluate programmes to identify technical faults and make remedy proposals and/or recommendations.
• Collaborate with product teams to iterate ideas on products/services and define feasibility.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams in trouble shooting functional and performance issues.
• Work with DevOps Engineers to integrate any new code into existing CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Good interpersonal skills to enable clear articulation while working with internal and external clients.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably in Computer Science field.
• Possess strong architecture and design skills building high-performance APIs using AWS services.
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing high performance APIs & Web applications.
• Experience in JavaScript and frameworks like typescript is a must.
• 3+ years of experience in building APIs using AWS services, specifically using Lambda and API gateway.
