Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager you will hold a pivotal position within our organization, tasked with overseeing and orchestrating the execution of complex projects from conception to delivery. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Lead assigned projects to completion and provide Tech Leads with feedback, encouragement, and advice.

·         Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.

·         Resolves team impediments with other teams to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.

·         Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.

·         Develop individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needs

·         Ensuring that the team's progress is transparent to all stakeholders by maintaining a visible product backlog and burn-down chart.

·         Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

·         Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

·         Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

·         Provide regular updates on the project to senior management stakeholders.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer with 12+ years’ experience in software development or design

·         Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.

·         7+ years’ relevant experience in leading/mentoring teams.

·         Ability to complete projects on time and within the stated budget.

·         Strong communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfort in business and technical discussions.

·         Effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives across various geographies and functions.

·         Strong people development and influencing skills; able to build and drive extended and virtual teams.
