Position Overview:
As a Software Product Owner specializing in the software development(Product), you will be a key player in understanding our clients' needs, translating them into software requirements, and ensuring successful project delivery. Your expertise will bridge the gap between business objectives and software development, ultimately helping us deliver value to our clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, processes, and workflows.
· Analyze and prioritize requirements, ensuring they align with the goals of print media projects.
· Translate business requirements into actionable tasks, user stories, and technical specifications in Jira.
· Manage and maintain multiple Jira boards, including creating and updating tasks, user stories, and sub-tasks.
· Ensure clear communication and coordination among cross-functional teams through Jira, including developers, quality assurance, and product managers.
· Track progress, identify issues, and provide insights to drive improvements in project management and execution.
· Conduct data analysis and generate reports to measure project performance and make data-driven decisions.
· Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to prioritize and manage the backlog of tasks and user stories in Jira.
· Provide expertise and support to team members on Jira best practices and workflows.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Agile development, project management, and Jira functionality.
· Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies to ensure efficient collaboration and execution.
Education, Experience, and Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Software product Owner
· Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques and documentation.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
· Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
· Knowledge of software tools and platforms used in print media is a plus.
