Assistant Manager- Cash Applications

 

Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for leading and planning the Cash application and Customer Credit card charge operations. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective Cash application and Credit card charge process across multiple entities. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the team.

Work Hours

12:00 Noon - 09:00 PM IST (Hybrid Shift)      

Position Duties:

·         Ensure daily cash posting and reconciliations for all Cvent entities across the globe,

·         Ensure all cash is entered, applied, posted and AR month close by WD0

·         Communicate with client(s) regarding missing payment information and discrepancies

·         Ensure customer’s credit card payments are processed daily

·         Review and post approved billing adjustments to customer accounts

·         Weekly and monthly MIS/ Dashboard providing visibility to stakeholders, eg. daily cash entry transaction volumes, open credits, unapplied cash etc.

·         Achieve and improve the Service Level Agreement (SLA)- handling customer queries

·         Providing Audit Support & Partner with cross functional teams to share best practices and improve processes and Procedures

·         Identifying process inefficiencies and recommending remediation to strengthen control environment in financial and operational areas through the use of system automation and relevant tools

·         Contribute to training and people development contributing to increase in productivity

Candidate Requirements:

·         Graduation/ Post-Graduation degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred with at least 8 - 10 years of experience in the similar role with 3-4 years in handling a team of at least 10 people.

·         Good working exposure to SOX environment, preferably for a US listed company

·         Excellent analytical and logical ability

·         Prior experience in working on Oracle and Salesforce.com (CRM) is preferred

·         Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment

·         Attention to detail, deadline focus and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks

·         Strong Initiative & organizational skills
