Manager - Learning & Development

Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Learning & Development (L&D) to plan, develop, and implement internal training and professional development programs for our 1200+ employees. This role includes executing the overall Training & Development strategy for Cvent’s employees to ensure that we are building employee capabilities, developing leaders and retaining key talent to meet business objectives.

 

Work Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST (Cabs provided with-in 25 km range to the office)

Position Duties:

  1. Undertake strategic, tactical and operational aspects of L&D
  2. Creation of the competency framework through defining behavioral & functional competencies across the organization
  3. Identify learning needs (both functional & behavioral) in consultation with Department leaders to  design and manage relevant training interventions
  4. Coordinate training programs across the organization and ensure integration of business objectives and identified training inputs across all functions and levels.
  5. Evaluate the impact of training programs and training methodologies in use, on an ongoing basis.
  6. Ensure timely management of training calendars, coordinating logistics, partnering with external training associations to ensure training delivery as per plan

 

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Bachelor/Master’s degree
  2. 11-14 years of experience in Training and Development with an in-depth understanding of developing, managing, facilitating, evaluating and scaling training programs
  3. Excellent stakeholder management skills with capacity to create group consensus amongst a diverse audience
  4. Effective L&D Project Management Skills with high energy level and facilitation skills
  5. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills required
  6. The desire and skills to lead projects as well as work in a fun, dynamic and highly productive team
