Job Description

Cvent is looking for a Marketing Automation expert to join its Marketing Operations division. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has had exposure to marketing automation concepts and tools who would like to take their career to the next level.

 

Work with the largest event management software company in the world to help capture, re-engage, and develop qualified prospects for Cvent’s global sales divisions. This is a fast-paced, timeline-driven, and demanding role that requires a self-starter with excellent motivation and attention to detail.

 

This is a high-visibility position that works with cross-functional departments. This position will work with the Marketing and Sales teams to design and build demand generation campaigns, including but not limited to: lead nurture programs, lead and account scoring, responsive emails, and high-level campaign metrics reporting for distribution to the Marketing and Sales divisions.

 

Position Duties

  • Build campaigns that drive demand generation using Marketing Automation Systems (with a focus on Marketo). Work closely with the Marketing, Sales and Sales Operations teams to support these initiatives.
  • Create and optimize email campaigns and landing pages that drive sales leads and increase prospect and client engagement; create dynamic templates
  • Implement and improve lead scoring and nurture campaigns to increase inflow of leads
  • Improve unknown to known lead conversion through web personalization campaigns
  • Work on Marketing Automation roadmap projects to improve existing processes and optimize the system utilization
  • Setup reports in Marketing Automation System to gauge performance of marketing programs
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations on Salesforce integration to ensure data flows into various systems flawlessly
  • Create and maintain profile attributes, website integration to Marketing Automation Systems, integration to CRM systems, etc.

Candidate Requirements

  • Should have 2–4 years of experience using a marketing automation tool (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Silverpop, HubSpot etc.)
  • Fair understanding of Marketing Automation and demand generation concepts and ability to implement the same using a Marketing Automation software
  • Working knowledge of HTML/JavaScript, with demonstrated experience designing responsive emails and landing pages
  • Attention to detail, deadlines, and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Great analytical and logical ability. Should be familiar with the reporting that a Marketing Automation tool has to offer and able to provide metrics/analysis around all campaigns
  • Fair understanding of CRM (preferably Salesforce) system and setup
