Individual Projects

  • Build and design predictive analytics models for pertinent business problems.
  • Explore and identify machine learning ideas for effective business decision making.
  • Work on data from various sources and business functions.
  • Ensuring optimized project execution & ensures timely delivery.
  • Gather necessary information to assist in the design of modeling and analytical projects.

Team Management

  • Ability to handle and/or lead multiple projects/work streams with minimal oversight. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities to meet business needs.
  • Coach and mentor statistical analysts to ensure optimal delivery.
  • Design and drive the vision for data science vertical.
  • Identify learning and development opportunities for analysts

Analytics Competencies:

  • Expertise in using R and application of statistical methods like Random Forest, Clustering, Linear/Logistic Regression, Association Modeling /Market Basket Analysis, Plots, Forecasting , Data mining to analyze data and find (or prove lack of) patterns in it, and in communicating findings in most efficient manner, mainly using visualization tools of R (1-2 years)..
  • Good understanding of statistical analysis techniques such as correlation analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series techniques, attribution modelling. Strong experience on providing predictive modelling solutions to clients.
  • Preferred experience with development of descriptive, inquisitive and predictive analysis through visualizations tools such as Tableau. (1 year)
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical bent of mind and exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable with SQL.
  • Good to have: Python, BigData

 

Candidate Requirements:

•          A great track record and assessment results.

•          6-8 years of relevant professional experience in high performance environments.

•          Prior Exposure to predictive analytics for at least 2-3 years

•          Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

Should be proficient in SQL, Excel and statistical tools eg: R,SPSS, Python
