Senior Manager/Manager, Invoicing/Accounts Receivable

Cvent, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Senior Manager/Manager, Invoicing/Accounts Receivable for our Tysons Corner, VA office. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Director, Contract Management in our India office and a team of 50 individuals who execute the contract management and invoicing process.  This individual will work with the team to streamline the end-to-end order to cash process and update the documentation accordingly. S/he must possess strong leadership skills as well as the ability to work in teams. This role reports directly to the Director/Sr. Manager, Collections.

 What You Will Be Doing

  • Adherence to timelines for implementation of contracts in Salesforce (SF) CRM system while maintaining the accuracy standards and compliance to internal policies & procedures
  • Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day invoicing operations, ensuring that invoices are accurate and sent out timely
  • Respond to and resolve complex billing issues and escalations, acting as a point of contact and escalation for sales
  • Adhere to timelines for processing contract amendments and credits and cancellation cases in SF
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly close cycle for the Accounts Receivable (AR) module in EBS
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend remediation to strengthen control environment in financial and operational areas through the use of system automation and relevant tools
  • Ensure invoicing related to new products, through development or acquisition, are incorporated into the invoicing process
  • Partner with cross functional teams to share best practices and improve communication and procedures
  • Hires, coaches and motivates team; monitors & help to improve team productivity and performance metrics

What You Need for this Position

  • 8+ years of overall experience in collections, invoicing and/or accounts receivable
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Excel and Word) is required
  • Experience using Oracle Financials and Salesforce is a strong plus
  • Self-starter who is action oriented, organized, and possesses a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented and intensely deadline-driven environment
  • Prior work with an international team a strong plus
  • Experience overseeing a large team is strongly preferred
