Sales Associate – Venue Expert Team, Hospitality Cloud

Job Description

We have a rewarding Sales Associate position available in our Hospitality Cloud sales department. This position will best suit talented and motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environments. Your main responsibility will be marketing our Hospitality Cloud products to meeting venue contacts and other industry professionals. You will serve as the initial point of contact with product users and prospective customers and will provide product information to prospects interested in viewing a product demonstration. You will be required to demonstrate strong marketing and solution-selling techniques, and work closely with the senior sales team to qualify leads and ensure the conversion of prospects into customers.

Work Hours: EST or Early EST

Position Duties

  • Market our newly launched Cvent Supplier Network product to prospects and industry professionals
  • Proactively contact meeting venues to educate them on electronic RFP tools, the site selection process through Cvent and industry best practices
  • Maintain and assist in developing new ways to Increase current product adoption levels
  • Assist in determining the key decisions makers that purchase online marketing or software
  • Communicate the value of online advertising as it relates to generating new business
  • Continuously strive to understand the dynamics of the Japanese market & loop in all stakeholders for any relevant updates
  • Provide feedback for product enhancements

Candidate Requirements

  • Must have excellent written & verbal communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream
  • 2 to 5 years experience in outbound telesales preferred
  • Basic knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • Excel at developing relationships over the phone
  • Ability to handle high outbound call volume with corresponding high talk time
  • Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
  • Hotel sales experience is a plus
