What You Will Be Doing

Cvent is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who likes to learn on the go and to work with multiple teams in a dynamic environment.  You will use your problem solving and technical skills on a daily basis to assist eight (and growing) India based sprint teams to develop and deploy cloud-based services.  You will develop tooling to enable our developers to work faster as well as support our continuous integration and delivery pipeline.  You should have the desire to become the go-to expert on one or more technologies such as Elastic Search, Couchbase, etc.

What You Need for this Position

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT operations, SDLC methodologies (preferably Agile software development methodology).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Administration
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible or equivalent
  • Experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Maven etc
  • Working  experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, couchbase, postgres etc
  • Working understanding of at least one of the following: Python, Ruby, PHP or equivalent
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS
  • Experience managing 3 tier application stacks
  • Experience with Elasticsearch
  • Experience with package managers such as nexus, artifactory, npm or equivalent
  • F5 load balancing concepts
