The Work You'll Do:

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer interested in Cloud Infrastructure and Automation. The SREs in Sovos should have a good understanding of Sovos Applications, Cloud architecture and is proficient with Monitoring tools and Technologies.

More specifically, you will:

• Provide server/system management, server backup, network infrastructure management and information security.
• Define, direct and manage data center, cloud structures and components requirements.
• Define commission and manage the requirements of big data infrastructures.
• Analyze the requirements of the corporate IT infrastructure, planning, commissioning, meeting the problems and demands, analyzing, producing solutions.
• Provide 3rd level support to Helpdesk processes on service and system issues.
• Record the work done and report it to their superiors.
• Follow the developments related to the field, to define the ones suitable for the institution, to activate / ensure their commissioning.
• Work with cloud deployment, monitoring, and operation analysis tools.
• Team mentality and willingness to share knowledge and ideas.
• Great communication skills, written and verbal.
• Keep up with metrics and use monitoring systems to provide the best performance, scalability and stability.

What We Need From You:

• Knowledge of computer network connections, installation of software and hardware applications.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Ability to analyze problems quickly and find suitable solutions based on available resources.
• Experienced in VMware, Hyper-V virtualization technologies, installation and management.
• Knowledge of ISO27001, and big data and cloud infrastructures.
• Experienced in Windows servers and Linux operating systems.
• SAP Basis knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of security software, and Data Storage Technologies and backup systems.
• Good level of system and network knowledge (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, IP Routing) (Preferred).
• Developed communication and reporting skills, competent in planning and team management.
• Strong experience of monitoring and alerting services such as Zabbix & Prometheus/Grafana.
• Experience of CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps.
