The Work You’ll Do:

Sovos is seeking an experienced Manager, Renewals to join our Global Go-To-Market Organization. As a pivotal figure in our GTM strategy, the Manager, Renewals plays a crucial role in Sovos's mission to ensure sustainable account retention, safeguard annual recurring revenue (ARR), and uphold operational excellence in renewals management and deal support activities. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the incumbent to lead a team of renewal managers, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive execution to achieve organizational goals.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

·         Lead and mentor a team of renewal managers, providing guidance and support in the renewal sales process.

·         Ensure timely and accurate quoting of renewals, facilitating complex quote creation and deal support activities.

·         Develop and implement controls to enhance renewals quoting accuracy and contract data precision.

·         Continuously assess opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices and innovative strategies.

·         Provide insights during weekly forecast calls to enhance predictability and mitigate risks.

·         Strategically collaborate with stakeholders across the ecosystem, from customers to delivery teams, to protect forecasted subscriptions and mitigate territory attrition.

·         Develop and execute strategies to proactively address challenges, ensuring subscription retention and revenue protection.

·         Collaborate with sales leadership to define the scope of deal support activities and serve as an escalation point of contact.

·         Partner with Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, Customer Success and Field Sales to establish world-class renewals and deal support processes.

·         Develop and nurture talent within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

·         Set clear development goals and career growth objectives for each team member.

What We Need From You:

·         Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams, preferably renewals management teams.

·         Several years of demonstrated success in Account Management and Renewals Management teams.

·         Demonstrated track record of achieving sales or renewal quotas, particularly for strategic accounts.

o   Bonus points for experience in the High Tech, SaaS industry.

·         Familiarity with the Annual Recurring Revenue business model.

·         Proficiency with MS Office.

·         Prior experience using Salesforce.com Lightning and/or Salesforce CPQ.

·         Ability to balance various tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·         Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated through various channels such as email, conference calls, presentations, and internal meetings.

·         Extreme attention to detail and a highly organized approach to work.

·         Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire.
