Job Description

Design, develop and maintain the Equites Technology Client Settings platform. The goal is to get many more execution systems onboarded to this new platform and future extension to other client preference systems at a global level. 

Developers will work across a variety of systems & programming languages for the Client Settings  platform which is integrated with Enterprise workflow system and  maintains the history and audit trail making it first of its kind. Built on the strategic framework it is very flexible and extendible. 

Technologies used include; 
• Web: RESTful Services, JSON, Nginx
• Programming Languages: Java, Scala, JSP, Linux shell scripting 
• Database Technologies: MongoDb

Skills & Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 
• Minimum 3 years industry experience. 
• Experience programming in JVM based languages (e.g. Java, Scala). 
• Basic SQL and database concepts 
• Ability to prioritize and balance immediate deliverables with longer term strategic initiatives. 
• Well-versed with the complete software life cycle. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MongoDb  and  BPMN is a plus 
• Experience with SDLC tools and different testing methods. 
• Prior experience in financial industry.
