Job Summary:

 

The Manager of Provider Analytics serves as the Commercial subject matter expert providing insights on the total US provider population & overall healthcare market dynamics. A key business partner with Clinical Franchises and Regional Commercial teams, this role evaluates opportunities associated with new test and product launches to be deployed to the field. The analyses and insights driven by this role will be a key input for Sales Force Deployment, Commercial Excellence, and Value Creation decisions.

 

Job Accountabilities:

 

Lead targeting efforts to identify opportunity within our current customer base and prospective clients. Work with Behavioral Analytics to optimize delivery of targeting insights.

Evaluate market sizing for new test & product launches. Partner with Clinical Franchises to model out opportunity associated with new initiatives. Create provider lists to serve as the basis for future targeting efforts

Manage data warehouse of provider and industry information.

Serve as liaison in the pricing and purchasing of provider, affiliation, and utilization data.

Serve as “Go-to” person for Physician/DGX client mappings

Provide analytics associated with Sales Force sizing and strategic deployment

Provide monthly updates to CA&E team on current events impacting Lab Industry

Advise on new and innovative ways to deliver targeting and other information

Key Business Partners: Commercial Marketing, Deployment, Clinical Franchises

 

Skills & Requirements

Job Requirements:

 

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in advanced business analytics. Demonstrated proficiency in performing in-depth analytics using large data sets.

Proficiency in SAS and other Business Intelligence platforms

Proficiency in data mining and analysis using QDSS & Informatics data sets

Understanding of healthcare economics, and well versed in current events affecting the Lab Industry

Well versed in current market for affiliation, utilization, provider market data sets

Very strong Excel and Access skills.

Strong communication skills. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and other Office applications

Candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter.

Candidate should have strong team working skills

Candidate should have the ability to manage multiple projects at once without compromising the fidelity of the work product
