We established and maintain a requirements center of excellence for a Federal government client, providing industry best practices related to requirements management and business analysis support. The team supports all requirements-related activities for priority projects, facilitates requirements elicitation workshops with stakeholders, conducts reviews of requirements packages, and provides formal requirements coaching and training. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating efforts across the team, such as scheduling meetings, proofreading work products, maintaining the project schedule, and finalizing status reports. This position reports directly to the Deputy Program Manager. 


  • Write/edit work products, including status reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
  • Maintain, revise, and present the project schedule
  • Coordinate input from the team and client to quickly revise schedules, status reports, and trackers
  • Coordinate with team members to analyze, track, and update status on projects, tasks, and lessons learned and succinctly communicate status to management
  • Research, compile, and analyze information to develop/revise processes, procedures, presentations, lessons learned, and requirements documentation ensuring that final outputs meet standards for order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
  • Review, edit, and standardize deliverables and/or work products and recommend revisions to scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction
  • Coordinate program activities, such as meetings, trainings, workshops, etc.
  • Coordinate training activities, develop materials, schedule events, and conduct training
  • Manage and update SharePoint site content, lists, and libraries 
Skills & Requirements
  • At least 3 years of post-collegiate professional experience in development of structured written materials and visual aids
  • At least 2 years of post-collegiate professional experience in project coordination
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel and MS Project
  • Ability to quickly adjust and adapt to changing client demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and process-oriented with great attention to detail
  • Smart, capable, and driven individual willing to learn and take initiative

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to make intuitive leaps based on the appropriate level of research and analysis
  • Experience developing training content and/or requirements documentation
  • Interest in growing business analysis, requirements, and Agile expertise


Bachelor’s Degree is required

Other Considerations: This position is W-2 only; no Corp-to-Corp or 1099 candidates.  Relocation will not be offered. Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual’s primary workstation is located in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of time.
