As a key member of the marketing team, the marketing communications specialist will assist in planning and executing the company’s internal and external communication strategy, editorial and sponsored content calendar, and media relations. This experienced communications professional will be focused on Greenway’s internal and external communications and brand strategy. This cross-functional role will significantly contribute to the definition and communication of the company’s brand and positioning in the market. While this position primarily focuses on content and communications, we are an all-hands-on-deck marketing team, with the opportunity to impact the entire marketing funnel. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Marketing Communication with room to grow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and managing Greenway’s internal and external communications strategy
  • Partner to execute an internal communications strategy in partnership with the executive leadership team and talent organization
  • Own and manage Greenway’s sponsored content and editorial strategy, with oversite of the company’s marketing campaigns, corporate initiatives, and messaging
  • Plan and drive Greenway’s digital content strategy in alignment with the product marketing and demand generation teams
  • Create marketing presentations and talk tracks for key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with demand generation team and product marketing team to ensure consistent and effective customer communications and brand strategy
  • Obtain necessary consent and provide final approval on all marketing communications
  • Adhere to Greenway’s global communications policy to ensure consistent messaging, transparent communications, and strong brand representation
  • Create a cross-functional communication network with key stakeholders in each functional area
Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of marketing, content, brand, media and public relations and/or communications experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to create and implement a high ROI content and communications strategy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate with, flex to, and support multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence and poise when presenting to and interacting with executive leadership
  • Results-oriented and data-driven
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Healthcare or software experience a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed (less than 25%)

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
  • Travel may be required (less than 25%)
