We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead our team of RCMs.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of revenue cycle processes and workflows, exceptional leadership skills, and proven track record of partnering with clients to understand trends and optimize the revenue cycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build on client engagement strategy to ensure client success within the revenue cycle
  • Establish strong C-level client relationships
  • Drive initiatives to improve client retention, satisfaction, and referenceable clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve revenue cycle workflows
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and revenue cycle best practices
  • Implement recommend changes for continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation within the department
  • Accountability for ensuring escalations for GRS clients are addressed timely and appropriately  
  • Ensure team has deep understanding of GRS services in order to provide valuable and meaningful insight to our clients  
  • Ensure that reporting and analysis of the clients accounts are delivered timely and appropriately 
  • Review client health to ensure that proper measures are being taken to improve performance 
  • Assist with development of case studies highlighting outstanding achievements in revenue cycle management 
  • Focus on staff development, including on‐going mentoring and training 
  • Identify gaps in operational workflow and create procedures/process documentation 
Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Ten (10)+ years experience Revenue Cycle Management experience
  • Five (5)+ years leading teams in Revenue Cycle Management 
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Executive or Certification in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and coding practices, reimbursement methodologies and revenue cycle
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve revenue cycle performance
  • Data-driven and process-oriented; able to simplify complex concepts
  • Curious and eager to learn and explore 
  • Organized and driven with a proven track record of “getting stuff done” 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to explain complex processes in a simple way 
  • Ability to travel 15-20% 

Work Environment/Physical Demands 

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday 
  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices. 
  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to clients and other associates 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • This role requires ability to travel 15-20%
