The Assistant Sales Associate is vital to the Greenway Health sales team. You will be tasked with discovering sales opportunities, following up on leads, coordinating with customers, and working closely with Account Executives and the District Sales Manager to increase overall bookings for Greenway Health. This is a benchmark position, and a successful Assistant Sales Associate will ideally move quickly into the Account Executive Inside Sales position. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Work in collaboration with the inside sales group by helping the inside sales team develop leads
  • Create proposals and assist in customer discovery in assigned accounts and territories in the healthcare industry
  • Complete sales calls and answering questions about the products as well as directing calls to the appropriate Account Executive, Inside Sales
  • Work in conjunction with management to properly route tasks or calls to appropriate business units
  • Enter lead information into Salesforce or any other system/method as deemed necessary
Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED  
  • Associate or bachelor's Degree in related field or applicable professional experience. 
  • 0 to three (3) years of sales experience or related healthcare industry experience.
  •  Basic sales skills a plus 

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required
  •  Knowledge of and an interest in current healthcare business challenges, products, and sales practices
  • Tech savvy and strong initiative to learn physician workflow and industry items that impact Greenway customers 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is necessary 
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of how to use Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint skills relevant to business is required  
  • Previous experience with customer relationship software Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is preferred, Salesforce.com is a plus 
  • Goal oriented aptitude is required 
  • Strong relationship and customer service skills required 
  • Ability to work and learn in a remote environment  

Work Environment/Physical Demands 

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for most of the workday 
  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard most of their workday 
  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for extended periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices. 
  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
