Entry Level Creative Services Writer

Job Summary

The Entry Level Creative Services Writer will create content to promote Greenway Health products and services, events and thought leadership. This position reports to the Director, Creative Services and will be responsible for writing effective marketing communications in a wide variety of formats such as email, direct mail, sales collateral, presentations, scripts, social media posts, case studies, web copy, and other formats as required.


Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develops, writes, and edits a variety of traditional and online marketing messages and communication pieces designed to capture target audiences’ interest and influence action.
  • Partners with other marketing resources and stakeholders to guide, coordinate and execute strategic marketing messages through a variety of formats (print, online, video scripts, etc.) and other tools as required to effectively communicate with external audiences, including customers, partners and prospects.
  • Assists the Director of Creative Services with strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote Greenway Health’s brand and products to further company’s sales objectives.
  • Collaborates with third parties and internal resources to develop external communications, advertising campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Prepares communication materials for external and internal presentations on products, services, and  business plans.
  • Maintains marketing intranet site housing marketing collateral and processes.
  • Actively participates in brainstorming with other members of the marketing group to generate creative campaign strategies and tactics for new product launches and product enhancements.
  • Works to ensure the consistency of our brand, tone and message and interacts with groups throughout the company to develop content.
  • May oversee production of collateral and mailings.
  • Measures effectiveness and quality of marketing content and adjusts as needed to meet objectives.
  • Attends trade shows and industry-related events as a representative of the company as needed.
  • Other marketing duties as needed.  
Skills & Requirements


  • Education:  BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Experience:  1-3 years of business-to-business marketing communications writing experience. Experience in the healthcare IT industry a plus.


  • Hands-on function that requires proven writing expertise, particularly designed to capture target markets’ interest and influence action.
  • Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of healthcare industry.
  • Ability to translate complex product information into a compelling business value proposition.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize a high volume of projects.
  • Ability to work across the organization, build partnerships and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple projects.
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe Suite and Internet browsers to research and develop communications program.
