Specific Accountabilities:

  • Establish restaurant business plan by surveying restaurant demand including conferring with guests in the community.
  • Perform all FOH/BOH functions including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, serving and greeting guests.
  • Identifying and evaluating competitors.
  • Oversee guest service in the restaurant, daily case maintenance and cleaning, maintenance of the cooler and maintaining backroom conditions. 
  • Maintain a department plan to use seasons and seasonal food items to increase sales.
  • Achieve department sales and financial objectives.
  • Controls purchase and inventory  by reviewing and ordering products and supplies.
  • Execute policies, programs and procedures defined for restaurant operations.
    • Write weekly schedules for all restaurant associates and maintain in WFM.
    • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
    • Ensure all waste is scanned out to maintain accurate shrink records.
  • Attract patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results identifying and tracking changing demands.
  • Achieve Busch’s sanitation, food safety and safety standards.
    • Accountable for ad in stock position following Busch’s guidelines.
    • Accomplish Human Resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff’ communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job performance; enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Prepare and plan for period end inventories.
  • Provide solid leadership and guidance to direct reports.
  • Contribute to organizational effectiveness by offering information, suggestions and recommendations.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state of the art practices and networking.

Education, Experience and Skills:

 High school diploma. Bachelor degree preferred.

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years experience working at a Kitchen Manager or Assistant General Manager level required.
  •  Passion for the business and compassion for people.
  • Highly-Energetic, self motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
  • Food safety certification.
  • Proficient management and leadership skills.
  •  Proficient organization and planning skills, especially to manage multiple deadlines and projects
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills
  • Proficient computer skills in excel, word and email. Able to learn and use a variety of proprietary applications and technology.
  •  Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  •  Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holiday

  • Lifting - Up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing - Approximately 95% of shift
  • Walking/Reaching - Approx 70% of shift
  • Bending/Squatting/Kneeling -Approx 20% of shift

  • Pushing/Pulling - Approx. 15% of shift
