We are seeking a
Pastry Supervisor
to join our team!

 

Pastry Supervisor responsibilities include preparing quality pastry items such plated desserts, doughs, cake, ice creams, sorbets, creams, compotes, jams and more.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proper scaling of ingredients
  • Maintain a clean, neat and organized work station
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Properly read dessert orders and plate them in a quick and efficient manner
  • Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to departmental standards
  • Proper set-up of the service line (stocking, pars, pastry items)
  • Prepares products and garnishes as needed for service line
  • Maintain a calm attitude when in a stressful, chaotic environment
  • Ability to multitask
Skills & Requirements

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • A culinary degree in baking and pastry is preferred, but not required. 1-2 years experience in the field will be accepted as education.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in basic pastry skills, knowledge of mixing methods, pastry line plating experience and proper scaling techniques.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • Available to work from 3 PM to 1 AM
