This individual must have sales experience in Banquet or Private Dining operations in a high touch, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, non-stop environment, is adept at prioritizing tasks, possesses excellent communication skills both with external clients as well as colleagues, loves solving problems, building long lasting relationships, and creating positive outcomes. This individual must work well independently as well as be comfortable managing others. A passion and understanding of culinary operations will ensure seamless communication with kitchen teams. The ability to be strategic, flexible, proactive, calm under pressure,
resourceful and efficient is in your DNA. Superior written and verbal
communication skills, strong decision making ability, sense of urgency,
empathy and attention to detail is crucial.
Possess the ability to manage the sales cycle of an event from inception to enlightened follow through
Must prioritize all facets of event coordination
Strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
Maintain and understand department financials including bookkeeping and forecasting
Strength with understanding and participating in various marketing strategies
Develop and nurture client and community relationships
Maintain accurate knowledge on hours of operation, relevant service and facility information
