is seeking a 

 Facilities Manager for Maialino.

The Head Steward for Maialino, will drive best practices for leading Stewards to excellent and efficient operations regarding housekeeping, dish and internal R & M jobs. The candidate will be process oriented, speak English and have strong oral and written communication skills. As a pivotal position intended to support the entire team of Maialino, they must be dependable, well organized, and resourceful. A successful candidate will own an innate ability to multitask and support very diverse operational needs. This individual must aspire to continued growth and development; while developing a team that shares in those ideals. This individual must be a Servant Leader and offer a level of flexibility in demeanor and schedule that will support our team and the changing needs of our dynamic businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and direct Maialino Operations department and manage Stewarding and Purchasing Managers to excel in their areas of responsibility.
  • Work with Maialino GM and Chef to deliver excellent results and maximize profitability, plan for and purchase capital equipment and fixtures as well as expenses managed by Purchasing and Stewarding departments.
  • Advise and assist with purchasing, receiving, inventory and requisition procedures and daily cleaning/maintenance procedures.
  • Communicate with Maialino Operations staff for in house maintenance issues and communicate with contracted service and repair companies for equipment repairs.
  • Coordinate all large repair, maintenance and renovation projects with outside contractors.
