Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI) is the fastest growing practice in the Chicago area dedicated to providing comprehensive fertility services. Our supportive and personalized approach to fertility care has led us to become one of the largest providers of fertility services in the United States.

This is a FULL TIME Registered Nurse position located at 900 North Kingsbury, Chicago, River North.  

This position is full time, 40 hours per week position.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work closely with physicians and staff to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.
• Collaborate with Third Party Reproduction Coordinators for cases where a donor, embryo or gestational carrier/surrogate is needed.
• Collaborate with financial coordinators, insurance companies, pharmacies, physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient’s complete care and service.
• Perform phlebotomy and process/send out labs as needed.
• Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and company policies.
• Assist with clerical and other office duties as needed.
• Work closely with, and serve as a clinical resource for, other coordinators on the Third Party team, IVF staff, FCI physicians, and FCI home office nurses.
• Take ownership of the care of donors, recipients, gestational carriers/surrogates, and intended parents through the entire process.  This involves consults, screening, synching cycles, ordering and explaining meds, giving schedules, keeping an eye on their cycles once taken over by IVF, following up on outcomes, reviewing donors for re-acceptance, and addressing all questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with agencies, attorneys, psychologists, financial coordinators, and others throughout the process.
• Assist with all Third Party programs as needed (i.e. DEBU, FCI Donor Program).
• Learn, follow, and keep up-to-date with FDA regulations and ASRM guidelines related to Third Party. 
• Counseling patients about all details of Third Party Reproduction and the steps in the process.
• Maintaining the parties’ anonymity and confidentiality.
• Assess for needed improvements or changes in the program, and participate in the solutions.

• Registered Nurse with current IL license in good standing. BSN preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in infertility nursing preferred but not required.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time-management, customer service, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work well in a very fast-paced environment with a high patient volume, while maintaining composure and an individualized, compassionate approach to patient care.
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 8 hour days.
