Who You Are:

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join the Vista team as an Account Executive.  This role is critical to our philosophy of success within the software market and offers room for growth to those individuals looking to build their career.  The Account Executive will be responsible for implementing strategies designed to drive revenue growth and build long-term relationships with existing clients.   Success in this role comes from being able to effectively articulate the value proposition of the company’s product portfolio and consistently finding new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed targets for revenue and sales activity
  • Cold call and qualify prospective leads by identifying the key decision makers, assessing customer needs, and finding opportunities to partner
  • Work in a fast paced and dynamic high-growth environment with an amazing team
  • Effectively manage clients and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work with customers to identify and develop product roadmaps for platform upgrades, add-on product modules, professional services, and other integrations.
  • Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of overall sales experience with 2 years of software or SaaS selling experience
  • Excellent organization and time management skills as well as the ability to manage multiple deals through the sales cycle simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and high degree of patience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading customer meetings and presenting to Executive level
  • Ability to learn and convey technical solutions and its relation to a client’s needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Travel averaging 40 – 60% of the time; no international travel required

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Experience working for a SaaS company
  • Experience with Miller Heiman, the Challenger Sales model, or similar solution selling methodology
  • Industries include: financial services, education, transportation, healthcare, telecom, insurance, hospitality, automotive, real estate, agriculture, managed services, nonprofit, energy, recruiting and sports.
