The Encima Group is seeking a Marketing Services Delivery Manager (MSDM) for our pharmaceutical clients in Central New Jersey.  This role is to develop and deploy multi-channel marketing (MCM) strategies and tactical plans across the U.S. Diabetes & Cardiovascular (DCV) portfolio of brands. As a member of the Marketing Support (MS) function, the MSDM will report in to an MCM Business Partner and partner with Brand Managers in the Business Units (BUs) to engage HCPs to deliver experiences that meet their needs, in a manner consistent with the strategy for the brand.

The MSDM will be a subject matter expert in MCM best practices and in leveraging data to inform plans. This will be achieved through:

  • The delivery of in-market campaigns that deliver high value (ROI and customer engagement) in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinating among multiple stakeholders, including Brand Managers, Media, Sales Operations, IT, platform vendor partners, AORs/agencies and Business Intelligence.
  • Possess a strong metrics orientation with an understanding of the importance of measuring engagement and calculating and improving the ROI on marketing investments.
  • MCM focus including, but is not limited to: CRM (inclusive of acquisition, retention & adherence), digital strategy (inclusive of social media, websites, search, print, email, direct mail & digital display).

 

Skills & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively partner with Brand teams to understand business goals and marketing objectives in order to support needs effectively
  • Drive the development of comprehensive, data driven, end-to-end, multi-channel (MCM) HCP plans supporting Brand objectives
  • Manages and directs Agencies to design tactical channel plans derived from MCM strategy.
  • Lead tactical execution through the creation of:
    • Content plans
    • Project briefs and other necessary requirements documents to support the development of MCM plans.
    • Asset creation and adaptation for each channel
    • Processes for MCM planning & execution
  • Work with internal teams and outside agencies/vendors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop MCM measurement plans & KPIs, in partnership with Business Intelligence, to ensure all activities are tied to measureable results and incorporated into decision-making to improve effectiveness of HCP CRM investments
  • Manage MCM budget  and track spending versus budget across agency and supporting partners
  • Support and champion submission of MCM material through the Legal/Medical/Regulatory (LMR) review process and ensure 2253 completion before use of assets
  • Ensure seamless hand-off of MCM assets to MCM operations team to enable operational excellence
  • Identify and share learnings across the portfolio and globally
  • Ensure that campaigns adhere to privacy policies and regulatory requirements for HIPPA compliance

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA required, MBA preferred
  • Requires 8+ or more years of related marketing experience, including at least 5 years in CRM or digital marketing
  • Deep understanding of MCM principles and needs to have a robust digital or CRM background in and out of Pharma with documented success
  • Clear ability to develop MCM plans and then to roll up sleeves to execute programs with excellence
  • Experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategies and drive plans
  • Familiarity with marketing in regulated industries
  • Experience managing agencies, especially in the MCM, CRM or digital marketing area
  • Passion for customers, especially in the healthcare sector
  • Strong consensus building and conflict management skills
  • Astute in managing multiple projects and competing demands at the same time
  • Ability to effectively author project briefs and project requirement documents
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
