In partnership with Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration, Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program which endeavors to develop continuous quality improvement processes that enhance person-centered service delivery and support to people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives.

To support this initiative, Liberty is now hiring for a full time ‘Senior Quality Reviewer’ position for the Southern region in Maryland.

This is a field-based position which requires extensive travel to provider locations throughout the region.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contributing to the State of Maryland’s pursuit of CQL accreditation
  • Onsite meetings with residential and day service providers
  • Conducting CQL’s Basic Assurances reviews with providers
  • Conducting interviews with DDA participants and staff for CQL’s Personal Outcome Measures (POMS)
  • Providing feedback and technical assistance to providers
  • Data entry and writing summary reports
  • Participating in various quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders at the Developmental Disabilities Administration Regional Offices

You can expect a starting salary of $65,000, thirty days of cumulative paid time off annually, reimbursement for work-related travel expenses, and other benefits.

You will receive comprehensive training by CQL on Personal Outcome Measures (POMS) and Basic Assurances.

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • At least four years of experience supporting people who are living with developmental disabilities
  • Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with people at all professional levels
  • Analytical skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of CQL and person-centered practices
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region (approximately 75%)
