Liberty Healthcare is now hiring Certified Nurse Aides and Certified Medication Aides for full-time positions at the Laura Dester Center in Tulsa.

The Laura Dester Center is a 25-bed intermediate care facility which provides specialized residential services for children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities as well as behavioral support needs and mental illness.

Your day to day responsibilities with Liberty Healthcare will involve:

  • Providing direct services and face-to-face care to children and adolescents
  • Ensuring clients are very well cared for and safe at all times
  • Continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health and safety
  • Providing appropriate interventions as necessary, when clients are at risk
  • Assisting clients with their activities of daily living – and helping them build related skills
  • Helping clients to build pro-social skills, which will foster their independence and good health

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:

  • Starting pay of $18.00 per hour (approximately $37,400 annually)
  • An increase to $19.25 per hour (approximately $40,000 annually) after 6 months of employment
  • An additional $1.00 per hour / shift differential for any hours worked between 6:00pm and 6:00am
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus which will be paid to you in $500 increments throughout the first year of employment

Positions are available on day, evening, and overnight shifts. A shift differential and additional 37 cents per hour is paid for hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Skills & Requirements

You’re a good fit for this position if you have an Oklahoma professional Nurse Aide certification (CNA) or Oklahoma professional Medication Aide certification (CMA).

No experience necessary – training will be provided. New grads welcome!
