Job Description

Due to continued organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare Corporation seeks to hire a licensed behavioral professional for an anticipated new PASSR Program Lead position. 

This is a key role with a statewide program which will help a significant number of children, youth, and families receive necessary long term services and supports so they may live as independently as possible in the community.

This goals of this program include:

  • Providing Employment and Community First (ECF) CHOICES training and technical assistance
  • Medical or Level of Care (LOC) eligibility assessment and appeals for Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
  • Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) and Inventory for Client and Agency (ICAP) assessments
  • Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) processes

The PASRR involves structured screening to evaluate people for serious mental illness and / or an intellectual and developmental disability. The PASRR is an important tool used in rebalancing services away from institutions and towards supporting people in their residences.

As Liberty Healthcare’s PASRR Program Lead, you will enjoy a wide array of responsibilities, including:

  • Managing a geographically dispersed team of professionals who administer the PASRR
  • Conducting quality reviews of assessments
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of assessments in relation to established policies, regulations, standards, and guidelines
  • Addressing inconsistencies in assessments through feedback and training
  • Leading various quality control, quality assurance, quality management activities and initiatives
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Forming collaborative and productive relationships with a diverse range of individuals
  • Assisting with the launch a statewide assessment program in Tennessee
  • Ensuring services are rooted in best practices and meet or exceed quality standards
  • Managing services with a focus on the best interests of children, youth and families

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • Professional licensure in Tennessee as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Experience serving people who are experiencing mental illness or living with an intellectual and developmental disability
  • Knowledge of interrater reliability, quality assurance, quality control, and quality management practices and methodologies
  • Management / leadership experience

Familiarity or experience with the PASRR II is helpful but not required.

This position will require you to work in person in an office in Nashville.
