Job Description

Behavioral health professionals are encouraged to consider a full-time Behavioral Specialist position with Liberty Healthcare at the Pennsylvania Sexual Responsibility and Treatment Program (SRTP).

The SRTP is a secure residential treatment program which exclusively serves young adults who have been civilly committed through ACT 21.

The program endeavors to prevent future sexual abuse and enhance community safety by providing evidence-based treatment to its clients.

As a Behavior Specialist at the SRTP, you will work directly with program clients and help them achieve improved behavioral health and discontinue inappropriate sexual behaviors.  Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with licensed clinicians and ancillary staff
  • Developing Plans of Care
  • Implementing behavioral plans and assessing client behaviors
  • Documenting services
  • Participating in training activities

As a Behavior Specialist and full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare, you can expect:

Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and you will work onsite at the SRTP which is located on the grounds of the Torrance State Hospital in Torrance, PA.

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related human services field
  • Experience providing behavioral health services to adolescents or adults in a mental health setting
  • Knowledge of effective behavioral interventions and cognitive behavioral treatment methods
