Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare seeks qualified candidates for a potential new Nurse Assessment Lead position.

This is a key role with a statewide program which will help a significant number of children, youth, and families receive necessary long term services and supports so they may live as independently as possible in the community.

This goals of this program include:

  • Providing Employment and Community First (ECF) CHOICES training and technical assistance
  • Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) processes
  • Medical or Level of Care (LOC) eligibility assessment and appeals for Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
  • Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) and Inventory for Client and Agency (ICAP) assessments

As Liberty Healthcare’s Nurse Assessment Lead, you will enjoy a wide array of responsibilities, including:

  • Supervising a geographically dispersed team of Nurses who administer Level of Care and Katie Beckett Assessments
  • Conducting quality reviews of assessments and determinations
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of assessments in relation to established policies, regulations, standards, and guidelines
  • Addressing inconsistencies in assessments through feedback and training
  • Leading various quality control, quality assurance, quality management activities and initiatives
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Forming collaborative and productive relationships with a diverse range of individuals
  • Assisting with the launch a statewide assessment program in Tennessee
  • Ensuring services are rooted in best practices and meet or exceed quality standards
  • Managing services with a focus on the best interests of children, youth and families

Skills & Requirements

You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:

  • Professional licensure in Tennessee as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience providing nursing care to children and adolescents who are living physical disabilities, mental illness, and intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of interrater reliability, quality assurance, quality control, and quality management practices and methodologies
  • Management / leadership experience
  • Familiarity with Level of Care and Katie Beckett assessments  

This position will require you to work in person in an office in Nashville. Tennessee residency is required.
