Summary: Responsible for the sale of the organization’s products in a specified region or major geographical area. Provides ongoing support to product distribution channels. Responsible for improving the quality of products and services provided by the department.
Selling Activities:

Promote the sales and service of refuse containers, commercial containers, recycling bins and lifters through a distributor network and direct sales

Solicit new business on all Otto products with prospective customers

Determine a systematic calendar on appropriate and timely face to face contact dates with customers

Analyze customers’ circumstances relating to warranties, municipal contracts and or general business responsibilities

Implement instructional programs for the AM’s customer base on the correct procedure for the installation or use of the Otto lifters or other traded products

Support area/regional distributors with literature, promotions and fieldwork

Assist in creating best practices for dealing with all accounts, including municipalities, national haulers and independent haulers

Communicate and review with company personnel the services and issues pertinent for sustained growth

Prepares periodic reports showing sales volume, sales forecasts, call details, or other information that is required by management
Quality Activities:

Recommends improvements in processes, products, services, or procedures to Otto and to the customer

Collects business intelligence on products and services, the development of which might enhance Otto’s product/service lines

Participates in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Company Quality System
