Regional Alliance Director

 

Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly professional Regional Alliance Director to join us remotely from their home office in the Northeast Region (CT, DE, DC, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT, NY, NJ and PA).  The Regional Alliance Director role is responsible for implementing sales strategies to grow membership and partnership relationships in Alliance Defending Freedom’s Church & Ministry Alliance (CMA) in assigned regions while also developing and executing member engagement strategies to meet the needs of existing members. This role will develop a deep understanding of what brings value to members and the Church to guide CMA’s strategy and implementation of programming that builds relationships, equips and educates members, and brings awareness to encourage participation in ADF’s advocacy work to keep the door open for the Gospel and boldly speak and live out the truth.

Essential Responsibilities: 

Regional Territory Development

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with members, partners, and prospects using various communication and relationship-building strategies.
  • Liaison between members and ADF internal and legal teams to provide superior customer service and engagement with ADF’s advocacy work.
  • Coordinate CMA presentations and legal summits within the region and assigned ministry verticals.
  • Build out regional communication and presentation strategies to recruit new members to CMA.

Partnership and Member Engagement

  • Build relationships by networking with influential church and ministry leaders of denominations, associations, organizations, etc., to establish and maintain partnerships promoting CMA membership.
  • Accountable for coordinating and tracking quarterly member lunches to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and promote high-level engagement with ADF.
  • Utilize CMA Member Engagement process to connect with 15 members per month and track level of engagement.
  • Develop City Group Directors and implement three City Groups in the assigned region by the end of 2024.
  • Coordinate quarterly ADF Attorney calls with members on regional topics or legal services to educate and equip members on ADF issues and how to engage.

New Member Recruitment

  • Develop and manage new member prospect opportunities and lead pipeline.
  • Identify, visit, and recruit churches and ministries to participate in the CMA program. This includes in-person visits, phone calls, strategic communications, webinar presentations, and attendance at church denominational gatherings, Christian ministry meetings, and similar settings.

Operations and Metric Tracking

  • Attend all team meetings (weekly, bimonthly, monthly chapel, and 1:1 meetings)
  • Regularly use CRM to maintain logs of communication and track interactions with members and prospects.
  • Responsible for displaying and developing ADF core values and core competencies.
  • Accountable for documentation and reporting of sales and member engagement goals.
  • Report on ADF Legal Summits, quarterly lunches, and ADF attorney calls; # of invitations sent, confirmations, and attendance.
  • Track member engagement process in CRM to track calls and emails sent, level of engagement, and number of connections.
  • Track City Chapter meetings, activities, and member/prospect participation.

Skills you need to succeed:

Knowledge of:

  • Basic-level theology, apologetics, and a general ability to interact with evangelical pastors and other church and Christian ministry leaders.
  • Evangelical church processes and standards.

Demonstrated proficiency in:

  • Project and/or relationship management skills.
  • Sales, development, or superior recruiting and personal communications skills.
  • Networking skills.
  • High verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Relational excellence with churches, pastors, and church leaders with minimal supervisor involvement.

Ability to:

  • Travel as needed.
  • Creatively sell ideas and achieve campaign buy-in.
  • Persuade others, including attaining financial contributions.
  • Prioritize, multitask, and achieve deadline goals.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with churches and ministries preferred.
