We have an exciting opportunity for a Tools Software Engineer to join our engineering team. This individual will regularly engage and communicate with a variety of developers including artists, designers, programmer and producers to understand workflow and feature needs to produce the most effective tools to maximize productivity. We create games with fast-paced action and cutting-edge technology. Specific duties will vary depending on the skill-set of the successful applicant.
Your Focus:

Analyze content creators’ workflow and develop tools to improve iteration time.

Help make our existing art and design tools more usable and elegant.

Profile and optimize tool performance issues.

Fix bugs in the tool suite.

Work with QA team to ensure automated test coverage of tool features.

Evangelize tools with how-to documentation and instructional videos.
What YOU Need to Succeed:

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering.

Deep knowledge of C++ and STL.
-
Fluency in C#.
-
Proficiency with SQL.

Mastery of MFC and Win32 tools development.

Excellent communications skills.

An uncompromising passion for quality.
Pluses:

Experience in Python, LUA.

Experience creating plugins for Maya, Photoshop, and Flash.
