Job Description

Kiawah Island Club is seeking Food and Beverage Managers to be ambassadors for our mission: TO BE THE FINEST PRIVATE CLUB IN THE WORLD. A Food and Beverage Manager at Kiawah Island Club requires attentiveness, outstanding customer service skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to be proactive and exceed Members and guests expectations.

This position offers a rare opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager with a passion for fine dining, wine, and luxury service. Our Food and Beverage Managers are hands-on supervisors that work alongside staff to ensure outstanding service and smooth operation of shifts. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, event set-up and service, and overseeing/supporting The Club's seasoned food and beverage service staff. excel at applying empathy to every person so they may create and maintain our members’ loyalty, while ranking their teammate’s needs even higher. A Kiawah Island Club Food and Beverage Manager will be an expert at welcoming our guests into our home with warmth, enthusiasm, and grace in this fast-paced, multi-faceted, club restaurant.

Service periods will include Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner

Skills & Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • 2 years food and beverage management experience at an upscale restaurant, resort, or private club
  • You must have a positive, outgoing personality, and a professional image.
  • A passion for hospitality and willingness to work as part of an effective team is required.
  • Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong wine knowledge and mixology experience is a plus!

Previous customer service and food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required. Reliable transportation is required.
