JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for teaching, developing, leading, encouraging and motivating cohesive store management teams in a fast growth company, driving sales and increasing profitability. Responsibilities will include supporting the Regional Sales Manager in carrying out the vision and overall business strategy for White House/Black Market.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of total retail management experience; 3 years of experience at the District Management level.
• Demonstrated ability to network, recruit, train, develop and promote quality associates into progressive, meaningful management positions. Has the ability to build a bench or succession plan for future staffing needs.
• Excels in building teams for success in meeting performance goals. Works well with others. Promotes harmony and teamwork.
• Excels in Human Resource management with strong skills in employee counseling and coaching. Shows a sincere interest in employees and the solution of their problems.
• Proven track record of increasing sales. Must currently manage a retail apparel store that is consistently in the “leading ranks.”
• Remarkable talent to consistently train and carry out winning sales programs as a sales leader.

• Solid evidence of community outreach and involvement.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Keen visual standards for overall look and feel of store.

• Work schedule will include minimum of one Saturday per month.
• Must be willing to travel. Travel responsibilities to include managing travel expense of hotel, rental car and meals, through a personal credit card to be reimbursed on a routine basis.
