Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the creative & marketing efforts of Chico’s FAS web properties: chicos.com, whitehouseblackmarket.com, and/or soma.com.
 
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Conceptualize and design digital and print graphic elements, photographic and computer generated animation per request of eCommerce team
·         will be able to take a loose concept; gather more information and build it out as a proposal; explore and propose multiple treatments; then work with/lead a team of designers, producers, traffickers, and developers to execute.
·         Creates or direct the production of impactful emails, site signage, and advertising banners.
·         Lead team’s processes and tools and overall quality, including style sheets, design templates, libraries and provide review and approval.
·         Provide graphic design, art services and technological knowledge to the eCommerce and development team and other teams.
·         Leverages existing brand assets in the production of web specific content.

BASE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertisement or related field. 
  • Four or more years of Fortune 500 web design experience.
  • Strong portfolio of work that showcases interactive design skills, graphic design skills, typography, emphasis on selling and attention to detail.
  • Expert at Photoshop & HTML, strong experience in Flash.
  • Fashion / Apparel industry experience.
  • Art direction / photo direction experience.
  • Experience working at or with an advertising agency.
  • Strong motion-design skills (Flash / Premiere).
  • Demonstrated success in eCommerce.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of additional relevant web design technology such as JavaScript, XML, PHP.
  • Knowledge of additional relevant design technology: Quark/InDesign, Illustrator.
