 At Chico's we currently have Part Time opportunities for talented individuals who have the enthusiasm to keep up with our pace and who want to be part of a winning team. We are currently seeking a Part Time Security Coordinators to work at our Direct Fulfillment and Retail Distribution Centers in Winder, GA.

 

Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift available. Competitive Salary.

The selected applicants will be responsible for patrolling internal and external company property, investigating unusual or suspicious situations and enforcing company procedures and regulations during and after normal work hours.

Candidates must have 2 or more years of security/loss prevention or risk management experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Background investigation required.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Security Coordinator is responsible for patrolling internal and external company property, investigating unusual or suspicious situations, enforcing company procedures and regulations during and after normal work hours.

 

FUNCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Monitor video surveillance system to prevent loss. 

·         Monitor and control access to Chico’s facility.

·         Address or respond to burglar and fire alarm systems

·         Create and issue security ID badges and assign appropriate building access clearance.

·         Respond to the call box for inbound trucks, allowing entrance on company property for deliveries.

·         Log in visitors, contract temporary associates and contractors.   Issue and collect their security ID badges with appropriate building access clearance.

·         Conduct routine and regular rounds internal and external of company property.

·         Document, report and address, when appropriate, emergencies, incidents and inappropriate behavior.

·         Unlock and disarm the building in the morning and lock and arm the building at the end of the day.

·         Escort associates to their vehicles after business hours or as requested by associates or directed by management.

·         Assist with and train for emergency situations.

·         Assist facility maintenance with after hours testing of fire systems.

·         Know and administer Chico’s Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) plan and procedures as they relate to security.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 Years of experience in security with experience operating and maintaining a video surveillance system.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Intermediate computers skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
