Position Overview/ Job Summary
QA engineering department is looking for exceptional QA Automation Engineer-I to join our team who has passion for software quality with a strong track record of delivering quality products on time and genuinely enjoy working in a collaborative environment. We have Automation team working on both API and Functional areas of our products, You will work jointly with Automation engineers and Architect to form a fully autonomous team and enhancing quality engineering part of the product.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and oversee the maintenance of automated scripts
- Test-drives clean, quality code, working closely with cross-functional organizations, Squad teams
- Schedules, execute automated test plans and cases and deliver on committed timelines with high quality products
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- BE (or) Masters degree in Computers
- Minimum 2+ years experience in software testing and Automation
- 1+ years experience in automated scripts development for web and mobile application using webdriver, Appium or any other similar tool
- Good Knowledge on any scripting languages (preferably Javascript/C#)
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain scripts that integrate automation and Jenkins
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with virtual machines and testing environments
- 5. Requirements (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, DB and Web-service testing (Selenium/Webdriver, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured etc.)
- Experience in working with DB queries (Added Advantage)
- Experience in source control management (Git is an added advantage)
- Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (Java, .NET/C#, JavaScript, etc.)
- Ability to contribute individually and work well with a team, work optimally under scheduled deadlines, and have passion for delivering high quality output
- Good problem solving/Debugging skills
