Key Responsibilities
 
Responsible for Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable processing up to and including:
  • Prepare daily flash sales report and reconcile cash sales to point of sales report
  • Prepare and import weekly close entries including reconciling and entering cash transactions, ensuring sales balance are properly recorded and reconciling all payment types
  • Responsible for monthly safe counts and change orders
  • Import and reconcile catering, warehouse, commissary and other weekly sales and payments
  • Follow up with the sales team on outstanding invoices
  • Maintaining responsible communication between management teams and controllers
  • Assist with creating and updating department SOPs
  • Support the Accounts Payable function

 

 




Skills/Requirements

Relevant Skills, Knowledge & Ability

  • 2+ years of experience in similar tasks
  • Previous hospitality or catering experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP)
  • Sage 100 knowledge a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Analytical thinking
  • Integrity

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance

Work Environment:

  • Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • Some local travel to restaurant venues
