Job Description
Union Square Hospitality Group is looking for an 
 
A/R Clerk to join the team at Union Square Events! 
  

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  1. Responsible for Accounts Receivable processing up to and including:
       
    • Entering invoices in accounting software
    • Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
    • Reconciling sales with supporting documentation
    • Following up on outstanding invoices
    • Maintaining the filing system to ensure AR files are organized and complete

     

  2. Ensure the excellence of all administrative duties up to and including:
  • Effective and efficient processing of all Accounts Receivable invoices.
  • Maintaining responsible communication between management teams and controllers
  • Maintaining the filing system of sales receipts in an organized manner

Minimum Qualifications

Relevant Skills, Knowledge & Ability

Restaurant bookkeeping experience is preferred

Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Access? )

Sage 100 knowledge a plus

Attention to Detail

Excellent verbal and written communication

Analytical thinking

Integrity

Education/Certifications:

Some College is preferred.

 

 

Work Environment:

Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
