• Downloading and extracting the source files according to the batches.
• Flag any source related issues before creating mezzanine.
• Removing bumpers and checking for other issues.
• Post- production of mezzanines according to the standard guidelines.
• Fix any video or audio related issues on request.
? Implement Skillsoft QA edits in Videos and IT content as directed
? Archive source files for delivery to Skillsoft’s archiving and localization teams as required
? To ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly targets are met and to highlight any risks to Team Lead
? To ensure all standards are met with regards to the version control mechanisms in place
? May be required to work on once-off projects/initiatives or ongoing project work as required or other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned from time to time
Requirements (Must-Haves)
4 years’ + experience in an Audio Video environment
• An in-depth knowledge of internet technologies and the restrictions associated with using audio and video in that environment
• An in-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects or other similar video editing applications
• An in-depth knowledge of SoundForge and/or other similar audio editing/recording applications
• Excellent skills in: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash (knowledge of Actionscript an advantage)
• A very good understanding of Audio & Video codecs, their functions and uses
• The ability to communicate constructively with a wide range of people
• The ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
• The ability to think in a creative, logical, and analytical manner
• Flexibility and constructive response to changing deadlines
