Union Square Events is seeking a

B&I Production Chef

to join our Culinary Team!

 

The B&I Production Chef for Union Square Events is responsible for overseeing the daily production of menus used for Union Square Events B&I accounts. This Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef of B&I to produce menus, monitor food, and prepare products for daily delivery to the headquarters of our B&I accounts.

This Chef will work in tandem with our team of USE chefs sharing the responsibility of employee coaching and development and food safety compliance of the Commissary Kitchen. The B&I Production Chef will embody and teach our Family Values while ensuring operational excellence and superior execution of our client's menus.

This position is based in our B&I account.  The role will require daytime hours, Monday through Friday.  Work environment is business casual and filled with fun, passionate people.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 2 years of Catering or B&I culinary experience
  • Working knowledge of many styles of cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Superior employee relationship building skills
  • Ability to lead employees and a willingness to get your hands dirty

Certifications:

  • CPR/1st Aid Certified (preferred)
  • NYC Food Handler’s Certificate
