Marketing Specialist, India, Skillsoft Group
Position Overview
The Skillsoft Group is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist for India to join our team in Hyderabad, India. Reporting to the Marketing Director of APAC, the role is responsible for providing assistance to demand generation, content creation, campaign execution/reporting, PR/media interactions, managing regional events, seminars, webinars, etc. The role will assist in researching, identifying and executing various types of regional marketing campaigns for demand & pipeline generation by creating/localizing of content as well as the administration/execution of regional marketing campaigns. We are seeking a self-starter with a can-do personality who can work cross-functionally in a deadline-oriented environment.
Position Responsibilities
· Coordinate the execution of multi-tactic marketing campaigns for both demand generation and lead nurturing programs.
· Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events, seminars, webinars, etc.)
· Coordinate the creation of new field enablement materials required by the regional sales teams
· Assist with the submission of PR agency deliverables and requirements from the media
· Build strong partnering relationships with the Business Development Consultants and be a point of communication between marketing and the BDCs. Organize processes to validate the quality of leads produced through marketing campaigns.
· Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, marketing pipeline, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
· Pull monthly and ad hoc reports from MAT (Marketo) to help team track the outcomes of campaigns
· Collect data on our audiences to help the Demand Generation team produce more relevant messages and content and deploy them effectively
· Organize existing content and look for ways to repurpose within marketing campaigns
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3-4 years of experience creating marketing programs with emphasis on demand generation and content
- Must be a strong communicator and collaborator with ability to elicit ideas and feedback from a variety of organizations
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to understand business needs and industry trends
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborator with ability to take direction and feedback
- Strong work ethic, highly responsive and dedicated to program results
Education and Certifications
- An MBA/Post Graduate degree in business, marketing or communications
- Experience in technology or software marketing a plus
- Experience with Salesforce and Marketo (or other Marketing Automation Tool) a plus
- Digital marketing experience a plus
- Presentation skills a plus
