1. About Company:

2. Position Overview/ Job Summary
The Consultant – Technical is responsible for delivery of consulting/implementation services to customers and for defining, improving, and driving best practices across the APAC practice.
3. Responsibilities
· Draft technical specs
· Lead all basic technical discussions with a customer
· Lead troubleshooting/ triaging of technical issues
· Install software for premised customers
· Consult on Advanced Reporting
· Work with Engagement Manager to refine project plan
· Work across departments to drive resolution to open issues
· Understand and communicate best practices to the customer.
· Can consult on in depth functionality, SumTotal and industry best practices
· Ability to effectively delegate tasks to Analyst for increase in efficiency on completing tasks and expedite learning and development of Analyst
· Internal-facing effort to ensure best practices (approximately 20% of the role)
o Function as a subject-matter expert in relevant areas
o Oversee and guide Learning and Talent implementation projects
· Meet utilization requirements and other KPIs related to individual and practice performance
· No direct reporting responsibilities
Approximately 50% travel.
4. Requirements (Must-Haves)
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
· 5-7 years consulting experience in the HCM space
· More than 2 years consulting experience in medium/large scale projects
· Presentation:
o Ability to project confidence to help customers make right decisions, utilizing the SumTotal and industry best practices.
o Can lead a group discussion
o Controls project scope and schedules
· Team Collaboration
o Contributes to team success
· Customer Sat
o Has received positive feedback from customers and internal stakeholders
· Initiative
o Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision
o Ability to lead and successfully complete project with complex customer requirements
· Deep subject matter expertise in relevant practice area (e.g. Learning Management, Talent Management, etc.)
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong customer-facing presentation and facilitation skills
· High level of organizational skills and ability to coordinate the work of others
5. Requirements (Nice-to-Haves)
Extensive experience with HCM platforms
