  • Ensure daily execution of food production meeting and exceeding 28 Liberty & USHG standards of quality
    • Clock-in and report to the workstation on time and in uniform
    • Maintain cleanliness of entire kitchen by following assigned opening and closing duties
    • Wash kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors, walls, and drains
    • Unload deliveries of food and other equipment to the kitchen
    • Organize dry storage and cleaning products
    • Empty all garbage from all FOH and BOH areas
    • Maintain cleanliness of all bathrooms
    • Clean and Maintain all back of the house
  • Foster positive inter-departmental communication
    • Take ownership over assigned station
    • Communicate with Chef or Stewarding Facilities Manager to assess any issues
    • Adhere to all USHG procedures as it pertains to personal appearance, attendance and conduct
    • Complete all assigned administrative requirements accurately and on time
    • Remain current and compliant with the correct HR practices and policies
    • Ensure DOL/Health Department compliance as it pertains to the operation
    • Assist in ensuring that 28 Liberty achieves an “A” rating or equivalent from DHMH by being compliant with health code




Skills/Requirements
  • Manages self calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety and sanitation procedures
  • Team-oriented

Certifications:

  • Basic knowledge of concessions, commissary production, and restaurant service environments.
